Rain continues in the states of South India. Meanwhile, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. The Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of rain in many areas of South India including Tamil Nadu, Kerala even today.

According to the Meteorological Department, the low pressure area over southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining areas moved west-northwest. Due to this, there is a possibility of rain in Coastal Andhra Pradesh, North Tamil Nadu, Rayalaseema. Heavy rain very likely at isolated places over North Tamil Nadu and South Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema from today to 23rd November. In view of the possibility of heavy rains, a warning has also been issued to the fishermen, saying that they should not go to the south-west and adjoining south-east and west-central Bay of Bengal and Sri Lankan coasts for the next two to three days. Along with this, fishermen have been advised not to venture into the coasts of Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Sri Lanka till 23 November.

According to private weather forecasting agency Skymet Weather, the depression over southwest Bay of Bengal is likely to move northwestwards and weaken into a deep low pressure area today. Due to this, the sea condition is likely to be rough and rough to high along and off Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu coast from today to November 23.

Light to moderate rain at many places with heavy falls at a few places very likely over Coastal Andhra Pradesh and North Coast of Tamil Nadu.
