Municipal employee Mohit died due to the explosion of firecrackers. In the accident, 12 people including Tehsildar, two videographers were badly burnt. The scorched people have been admitted to a private hospital. Two tractor-trolleys were blown away in the accident. SHO, Tehsildar’s vehicles, JCB and many other vehicles were damaged. The vehicles of the fire brigade brought the fire under control after a lot of effort. The injured have been admitted to the hospital. On the other hand, after getting the information of the incident, SDM Suresh Kumar reached the spot and took stock of the incident. SDM said that the matter will be investigated. In fact, on the orders of the SDM, 8.5 quintal firecrackers were taken in 2 open trolleys outside the town to the same illegal factory on Rupana Road from which they were seized. After digging a pit in a deserted place, when the NAPA workers started putting firecrackers in it, the gunpowder exploded due to friction. The negligence of the administration has also come to the fore in this. Apart from the fire officer, there was no explosive expert in the team that went to destroy the crackers. About a month ago, a fire broke out in the same factory near which the firecrackers were being pressed, in which two people died. According to the information, on September 12, CM Flying recovered firecrackers worth lakhs of rupees from an illegal firecracker factory in Siwani. After a few days, the owner came out on bail and started making crackers again. On October 18, a fire broke out in the factory while making firecrackers. Woman Renu and her two-year-old daughter Reena died in this. The administration had recovered a large number of explosive material and crackers. Factory operator Devendra Bansal is in jail.
On the orders of the administration, orders were issued to seal the factory and destroy the firecrackers. The SDM had given orders to destroy the firecrackers. The team was formed under the leadership of Tehsildar Rameshchandra. On Wednesday, Tehsildar Rameshchandra was appointed as Duty Magistrate and the team was sent to the spot. He was accompanied by station in-charge Kuldeep Kumar, police force, fire brigade vehicles, municipal personnel. Around five in the evening, the employees of the municipality put firecrackers in a tractor-trolley and went to destroy them on Rupana Road. At some distance from the factory, there was an explosion while digging a pit from JCB and putting firecrackers.
The task of destroying firecrackers was given to Fire Officer Krishna Kumar as an expert. Water was being poured along with putting firecrackers in the pits. Despite this, there was an explosion. The explosion was so severe that the tractor present on the spot and Tehsildar’s vehicle, JCB, station in-charge’s vehicle and two bikes were damaged. The pieces of the tractor were scattered for about 300 meters. 25-year-old Mohit, a sweeper of the municipality, died in this accident. The fire was immediately controlled by the vehicles of the fire brigade. The scorched people have been admitted to the nearby private hospital by ambulance. It has been told that the investigation report of the samples of firecrackers had not yet come.
Eyewitness JCB operator Ramchandra told that I was sitting on JCB. The explosion was so fierce that pieces of tractors fell like fireballs on vehicles parked 400 meters away. Vehicles were also damaged due to this. The ears were numb from the echo of the explosion. Nothing was heard for a while. One kilometer Even the ground shook. The glasses of the vehicles were broken. Due to the sudden accident, there was a hue and cry among the employees present on the spot. The SHO immediately called an ambulance and sent the injured to the hospital.
