Vivo has launched its flagship X90 smartphone series in China, including the standard X90 with X90 Pro and X90 Pro+ 5G. The smartphone is likely to be launched in other markets including India next month. The Vivo X90 and X90 Pro 5G are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9200 SoC, while the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC is found in the X90 Pro+ 5G. Whereas, the X90 5G packs a 4,810mAh battery with 120W fast charging support, the X90 Pro 5G packs a slightly larger 4,870mAh battery, and the X90 Pro+ packs a smaller 4,700mAh battery that supports 80W charging. The X90 Pro and Pro+ also offer 50W wireless charging support.

The 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage variant of the Vivo X90 is priced at CNY 3699 (roughly Rs. 42,300). Its 8GB + 256GB, 12GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB models are priced at CNY 3999 (roughly Rs. 45,700), CNY 4499 (roughly Rs. 51,500) and CNY 4999 (roughly, Rs. 5700). The Vivo phone is available in Black, Blue and Red colors.

Whereas, the 8GB + 256GB storage variant of the X90 Pro 5G is priced at CNY 4999 (roughly Rs. 57,200) in China. Its 12GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB storage options are priced at CNY 5499 (roughly Rs. 63,000) and CNY 5999 (roughly Rs. 68,600), respectively. The device has been launched in Black and Red color options.

The Vivo X90 Pro+ 5G is offered in two variants, including 12GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB storage configurations, and is priced at CNY 6499 (roughly Rs. 74,400) and CNY 6999 (roughly Rs. 80,100), respectively. The phone is available in red and black color options

Origin OS 3 based on Android 13 is available on all three Vivo phones. All models in the X90 series get a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate support. However, the standard model comes with 2800×1260 pixels resolution, while the X90 Pro and X90 Pro+ 5G come with QHD+ resolution. The standard and Pro models of the Vivo X90 series get the MediaTek Dimensity 9200 SoC, while the Pro Plus model has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC.

Talking about the camera hardware, The X90 5G gets a triple rear camera setup equipped with a 50MP Sony IMX866 primary camera, which includes a 12MP ultrawide camera and a 12MP portrait lens with 2x optical zoom. At the same time, the X90 Pro offers a 50MP Sony IMX866 primary camera, but it also has a 50MP Sony IMX758 portrait sensor and a 12MP ultrawide sensor with 2x optical zoom.

Camera of Vivo X90 Pro+ 5G The setup is the most advanced, featuring a 50MP Sony IMX989 primary camera sensor and what the company claims is a 1-inch sensor. The setup includes 48MP Sony IMX598 ultrawide sensor, 50MP Sony IMX758 f/1.6 portrait sensor and 64MP OmniVision OV64B40 telephoto camera with up to 100x digital zoom and f/3.5 aperture. All models have a 32MP front camera, mounted in a hole-punch cutout in the center.

Speaking of batteries, The X90 5G and X90 Pro 5G pack 4,810mAh and 4,870mAh batteries respectively with 120W fast charging support. On the other hand, the X90 Pro+ 5G packs a 4,700mAh battery with 80W fast charging. The Pro and Pro+ models also support 50W wireless charging.
